Is my coworker attracted to me? It's always a challenge for us to figure out if a person likes us or not. In the workplace set-up, to tell if an office mate likes you could very well be dependent on how he or she acts around you. Attraction can be manifested in many ways; some may not give the slightest clue but mostly send out a very obvious sign of attraction towards you. Sometimes it is difficult to guess if the person is just being friendly and accommodating or is the attraction obvious from the start? Figuring out on how to tell if a coworker is attracted to you is by looking out for these signs you may very well ignore at times:

• Watch for the eye contact
  
  An interested officemate who's a shy type usually looks away too quickly after looking at you. Others who are more confident stares at you longingly even without any reason at all. They're usually unaware of how long they've been staring at you. Some call it an intimate gaze, scanning your eyes first when you talk and then they may start to stare at your mouth, your hair and the rest of your face in between staring you in the eyes.
  
  
• The body language
  
  This is also one great indication of a person being attracted to you. When you find them nervous, perspire or even stuttering at your presence - considering that it's not their normal behavior when talking to others - then yes, they are attracted to you! A person tends to get self-conscious around an individual that they like. There are times when they tend to laugh at even the corniest jokes you make, this can be one indication too. So if you want to see how that person feels for you, try telling them the lamest jokes you have. This might help you confirm your suspicions.
  
  
• Always checking you out
  
  Those who are attracted to you will most of the time glance your way. There will rarely be a time that that person will not take the time to look at you whenever you pass by. Also, looking at you for your approval every time he or she says something smart and funny; trying to impress you with their wit and sense of humor. You can't be too insensitive to see that he has an interest in you if he frequently glances at you even when you're seated far away across the room of your office area.
  
  
• Personal questions being asked
  
  Another noticeable sign would be when they try to ask you of personal things. They might ask what your favorites are, likes or dislikes, your home address, contact number, whether you're in a relationship or not, if you're married or single and other private matters regarding you. They might be able to get some personal information from other officemates or people close to you, so be alert if ever somebody asks you these questions. That person asking you might not be the person who's interested in you; in fact, he or she might just be doing a favor from your real admirer.
  
  
• Sudden changes in usual habits
  
  Interested coworkers make an effort to modify their usual daily routine at work just to have reason to be close to you. Merging or trying to make their work activities coincide with yours. Frequently finds a way to "bump" into you by changing their break time schedule the same as yours or going to the places you go after work. They might try to make it as if it's just coincidence but if it happens too often, then consider them truly attracted to you.
  
  
• The sweet talk and the flirting
  
  It is too often that the person who's interested in you at work takes the time out to be friendly to you. They chat with you until you get to be comfortable with them. These are their way of trying to see the type of person they are trying pursue. They will smile every single time they talk to you, and usually talk sweet to you. And if they made you comfortable enough, they will try to flirt with you.
