You need to add these two sections to your technical resume, these are important in listing and highlighting your technical expertise. Make the summary short and concise, mentioning the skills that you think are your greatest asset. Positioning
Your technical skills list should be on the upper part of your resume, at least on the first half of the page. This is to make sure that it is clearly seen and easily noticed.

Order
When you list down your qualifications, arrange it so that the most relevant skill will be read first. Order it by relevance. Prioritize the skills you know that's required by the employer; list it on the top of your technical expertise section.

Show actual figures or percentages
Include actual figures of your performance. You can include something like actual increase in profit due a new software or section that you created. For you qualifications you could include what level or ranking you are on for a certain certification. Numbers and figures would really look attractive to hiring managers; they normally appreciate detail and actual results.

Words
Use powerful action verbs when describing your achievements, by doing this you emphasize on the results you have accomplished. These words encourage the readers to see what else you have done. Always used the past tense even on the most recent accomplishments or projects you have completed.

Keywords
In Technical resume writing, it is good and advisable to include industry-specific jargon on the body of the resume. This can show that you are familiar with the industry and also good for software used by companies that automatically scan resumes for these keywords. List down the complete names of program languages, operating systems, equipments, and other tools you know how to use.

Length
Summarize properly, keep it short but don't sacrifice content, get rid of needless items, or irrelevant experiences, accomplishments or awards.

Review and proofread
Make sure that your resume doesn't have any grammatical errors, misspellings and incorrect terminology. Always proofread and proofread again. Make other people read it to make sure that you spot all mistakes and correct them accordingly.
